Looking for Micro-controller/driver for a 1 A, 5 V, BLDC

Hi,

I am looking for an micro-controller (possibly with embedded driver circuitry) for current/torque control of a brush-less DC motor. This controller should be able to utilize SPI or I2C interface, and would need to operate within 5 V Vdd and with a maximum current pull of around 1 A. Is there any TI product or combination thereof (i.e. a micro-controller along with a driver) that would fit these specifications, and that you would recommend for this application?
