Section 10.4 "Power Dissipation" gives the calculation for the power FET loss. When the input voltage change, the current RMS value could be change.
If the IC temperature change doesn't match the power FET's conductive loss change, we have to check:
a. switching loss. In this case, we need to check winding current, switching node voltage and VM voltage.
b. winding current ripple which may related to decay mode setting.
