The minimum OCP current and time is more important than the maximum OCP. An overcurrent event can occur is the current is >6A for longer than 3.75us (typical). Assuming the variation can be +/- 30%, the OCP could assert in as little as 2.6us.
Although the device above did not trip overcurrent, the next device could due to process variation.
