MCT8329EVM: Motor startup failure and over current limits

Hi Ti team,

I have been trying to run my 24pole motor (max mechanical speed 8000 RPM) with the MCT8329EVM but have had no success in reliably running the motor.

Sometimes it gets stuck in the start routine (burnt two motors), sometimes at running. I have tried everything  suggested from this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/motor-drivers-group/motor-drivers/f/motor-drivers-forum/1360812/mct8329evm-current-limit 

I was running the motor today, at Battery voltage 15V and no load connected.

Initially I got some FAULTS like VDS_OCP_FAULT which I ignored but as soon as my motor started to rotate I saw that the MOSFETs are getting very very heated so I aborted.

Please let me know what change is required ?
