MCF8316AEVM: BRAKE_ALIGN not possible with GUI?

I am trying to enter ALIGN_BRAKE mode within the GUI, but it appears that these registers are locked. I attempt to set MTR_STOP register to 101b per datasheet. When I do this, the dropdown option is listed as "Not Applicable". I also attempt to modify the ALIGN_BRAKE_ANGLE_SEL register but am locked out.
