RE: DRV8701: Chopping and Overcurrent Protection

Hi Phil,

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer.   Some of my doubts were clarified but others remain.

According to your last statement, If I used end-stop detection for my application, the driver will not detect an OCP event and will perform chopping, right?

OCP event will be only triggered when a SCG/SCB at SH1 or SH2 is presented right?

When I said "what If I shorted SH1 and SH2..." I meant together: make a shorted load condition.   Since Chopping blanking time is lower than overcurrent deglitch time, If a shorted load condition is presented, Will I see and OCP event triggered? not, right?

Thanks again: ).
