Part Number: DRV8703-Q1EVM
Dear Support team,
Our customer will use DRV8703-Q1 in their application.
They are using the DRV8703-Q1EVM to check the occurrence of a flag when a fault is detected.
Please tell me how to generate a fault without destroying the EVM board there.
1) Charge-Pump Undervoltage (CPUV) Lockout
Does the flag generate by short-circuiting the capacitor terminals connected between the VCP pin and the PVDD pin?
Please tell me if there is any other good way.
2) Overcurrent Protection (OCP) Set the VDS setting value of the VDS control register to 000b = 0.06 V.
Can OCP flag be generated by rotating the motor at high speed? Please tell me if there is any other good way.
3) Gate-Driver Fault (GDF)
Is the GDF flag generated by short-circuiting the GH1 pin (TP6) to GND?
Is this device destroyed in this way?
Please tell me if there is any other good way.
Best Regards,
Hiroaki Masumoto
