I have been experimenting with the motor and it looks like 1.8 ohms is a good value. The drive doesn't go into regulation mode and I can detect my soft stall at ~ 150mv. I have 8 motors that are independent and may run at the same time. 7 motors are "decoded" so only one will be active, the others will have INx high. Tying these together save 7 ADC inputs. I found I need a low pass filter (20k/.1uf) between the sense R and the ADC (too much noise). I could use separate sense R's and isolation resistors (the 20k's) to a common .1uf and ADC input. May be best method.
