RE: DRV8308 compatible EEPROMs

Hi Max,

There are a few conditions that the EEPROM should meet:
1) The EEPROM accepts the read command as 9 bits; beginning with 3'b110 followed by 6 address bits. Larger EEPROM use more bits for the address.
2) The EEPROM is set to 16 bit organization
3) Assuming the EEPROM is powered by VREG, it must be rated for 5VDC.

If the above are met, the microwire EEPROM should work.

The timing diagram for the DRV8308 read of the EEPROM data meets the recommended EEPROM timing. The 9 bit command is followed by 12 sets of 16 clocks to read the data for registers 0 through B.
