RE: DRV8830 motor control
hi Phil Beard GND and between my cc2650STKDRV8830 state is not connected. The power supply to the serial port on cc2650STK state and was connected to a battery DRV8830. Why is the solid ground...

Hi Jeeva, It appears that one current sense resistor is sufficient if placed at the source of the three low side FETs.

Hi Pascal, You may be reaching the limit of the motor. The back EMF may be preventing the desired current level. As you observed, raising the voltage is the best approach to reach the desired current....

View ArticleRE: DRV8711 doesn`t respond on spi
Hi! I`m using my own board! I`ve powered the DRV8711 with 12V and I dropping SCS low after every 16bit cycle for 1ms. The SPI interface is running correctly on the controller`s side, but I can`t...

Here is my schematic http://dox.bg/files/dw?a=de0ac77a13I couldn`t find how to upload files here. So SDATAI is correctly connected to SDO and so on. I`ll remove the extra pull-ups.

I forgot to solder the gnd under the chip! Could it be the problem?!
View ArticleRE: DRV8711 doesn`t respond on spi
Hi Pavlin, I did not see any problem with the schematic and SPI connections. The gnd under the chip is probably not the reason for this, but the lack of the connection may cause thermal issues later....
