Part Number: DRV8702D-Q1
Does the level of Vdrain have an effect on sensitivity of internal current regulation amplifier ?
For zero current and 5.5<Vdrain<12V, Voltage at SO pin is 480mV.
For zero current and Vdrain<5V, Voltage at SO pin is 200mV less.
Motor not spinning at Vdrain<5V, but value will be used for 0A reference.
Please explain relationship Vdrain - SO Voltage for this range of Vdrain.
Christina,
Here is the workaround:
1) Download runtime from http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/non-esd/gui_composer/runtime/gcruntime-2.0.6-windows-installer.exe
The one from the link above will contain an .exe named “gcruntime-2.0.6-windows-installer.exe”.
2) Run the DRV GUI installer.
3) Choose appropriate application and runtime locations, but avoid spaces in the runtime path name.
4) When you see the following screen during installation, select the “Install from file” option, press the browse icon to the far left of this, and located the runtime installer named “gcruntime-2.0.6-windows-installer.exe”. Your screen should look similar to the screen capture below(except actual runtime installer version)
5) Press next and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

-Adam
Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM
Hello,
I have problems with the SPI communication. The timings were set according to data sheet. The SDO signal always goes to "zero" during transmission. Wake was set to logical 1. PVDD to 12V. See Scope. Evalboard is LAUCHXL2-570LC43.
1 = SCLK, 2 = SDI, 3 = SCS, 4 = SDI
Why do I receive no valide data?
Thanks
Uwe
Part Number: DRV8350
Hello,
Are there any production samples available for the DRV8350H as of yet?
Thank you,
David
Part Number: UC1625-SP
The output of the PWM Amp/Comparator (EA_Voh) is only about 3.95V, expecially during -55℃ the output voltage is about 3.82V which can not reach to 4.2V as the datasheet shows. Is there any test or apllycation details suggestion?
Dear Adam,
Thanks again for your support. I'll install the resistors and make pictures of the voltage across them to check the current sharing. I understand that the sum of both currents should still have the rectangular waveform of Idrive amplitude presented in the data sheet, is that correct?
Best regards,
Cristian
Hi Adam,
thank you for the information.
I got feedback from my customer:
in our case it is not a matter of Tdrive. The FET is switched on proper.
But during operation the gate voltage drops, due to very high currents in the system, and causes a GDF error of the DRV.
We think the voltage level is still high enough for save operation of the FET.
Without knowing the exact voltage level, at which the DRV trips the GDF-error, it is difficult for us to decrease the gate voltage drop to a save level.

Stani
Part Number: DRV8323
Hello,
my customer is currently doing a design with our DRV8323 and they get GDF-errors and need to know, at which voltage level of Vgs, these errors are recognized from the DRV.
They could not find anything about that in the datasheet. Could you please provide this information.
regards,
Stani

hi,
question related to design, so how many vias can be used in and around mosfet ic DRV8703-Q1.
