Hi Hope.
Please see my response below
- Refrigerator circ fan
- 12V, 0.15A, up to 2W, 1300rpm
[KS] DRV10975 should be able to meet this spec
- 5-16V operation (speed regulation)
[KS] DRV10975 can operate between ~6 v to 16 V. Please see UVLO spec in datasheet for rising and falling edge.
- <35dB acoustic noise with load
[KS] DRv10975 operates in true 180° sinusoidal mode, so it shouldn’t be problem.
- 3.5s restart after entering stall (lock)
[KS] DRv10975 restarts in 5 sec after entering stall.
- FG output
[KS] FG output can be configured as per requirements.
- 12-slot / 8-pole motor
- Question 1: are phase resistance, KT and # of poles the only parameters that need to be programmed?
[KS] Configuring Kt and resistance is good starting point to get motor spinning. Other parameters like startup setting and T control advance might needs to optimize later to improve performance.
- Question 2: if Rph_CT is 20ohm, can DRV10975 work for the motor?
[KS] Maximum resistance that can be configured using DRV10975 is 14.1 ohms, so you can try configuring 14.1 and see if its spin motor.
