DRV8300: When High-side gate and Low-side driver output MOSFET short ground

When DRV8300 High-side gate and Low-side driver output MOSFET short ground, what protection mode will be activated?

and what would happen if there was no protection?
For example, half-wave output, or the High-side gate and Low-side driver are short-circuited and burned, or the bootstrap capacitor cannot be charged, etc.
