Hello,
1. I am currently feeding the driver with 6V, but nFault pin is indicating warning signals (repeating 56 us pulse low followed by a 56 us pulse high). I read from the SPI bus to know that PVDD_UVFL (PVDD undervoltage flag warning) is raised in Warning and Watchdog Reset register, meaning that the generated warning is due to the PVDD is under voltage (PVDD falling 7.7 – 8.1V, PVDD rising 7.9 – 8.3V). I wonder if I could disable this warning signal somehow and how could I do that?
2. Is this driver able to operating normally with 6V supplied voltage, due to the datasheet specifications this could go as low as 4.4V, but I just wonder if the device will sacrifice some performance if the PVDD is below 8V? I have tried with 6V driving a brushless dc motor, which seems to be ok, but I would like to have the confirmation that the performance or efficiency will not be sacrificed due to the lower supplied voltage.
Thanks,
Weinan
